So it has been a day or two. Nothing much new. It's amazing to me how fast things can change. I thought I had everything set to go to Texas, found the job I wanted, found a buyer for my business in Cedar, let my apartment landlord know that I was intending to move, and started looking for a place in San Antonio. I was so excited by the way things were falling into place. I knew it was the right thing to do at this point in life. Then life happens. The gentleman that was supposed to buy my business was not able to find a bank to approve his loan. That really puts a wrench in things. I was hoping to be able to concentrate on work and school in Texas without having to worry about the business. It looks like I will be holding onto it for another season. It makes me grateful for family that is willing to take care of it while I'm away. My mom will continue to manage the office, hopefully I can talk Rob and some others that worked last season to come back and help out until Steve gets home. (I hope Steve doesn't plan on working anywhere else for awhile)
So I guess what I learned is that even when things look great, and then don't work the way you want them to, they work themselves out.
