Well, here we go again

So it has been a day or two. Nothing much new. It's amazing to me how fast things can change. I thought I had everything set to go to Texas, found the job I wanted, found a buyer for my business in Cedar, let my apartment landlord know that I was intending to move, and started looking for a place in San Antonio. I was so excited by the way things were falling into place. I knew it was the right thing to do at this point in life. Then life happens. The gentleman that was supposed to buy my business was not able to find a bank to approve his loan. That really puts a wrench in things. I was hoping to be able to concentrate on work and school in Texas without having to worry about the business. It looks like I will be holding onto it for another season. It makes me grateful for family that is willing to take care of it while I'm away. My mom will continue to manage the office, hopefully I can talk Rob and some others that worked last season to come back and help out until Steve gets home. (I hope Steve doesn't plan on working anywhere else for awhile)
So I guess what I learned is that even when things look great, and then don't work the way you want them to, they work themselves out.

Just trying this out

Thought I'd try using this to keep up on family and friends. I must admit I have been a blog stalker, peeping in on blogs without actually having an account so here is their chance to get back. Thought it would be a good spot to post my ranting and raving. Anyways, if I like it I'll keep going, if not, it was a good thought anyways.
I just recently took a job in San Antonio at the University Hospital, somehow I convinced them that a hick from the sticks was exactly what they were looking for, so I will be moving south on March 11. Just a word to the wise: AVOID the trauma ICU in San Antonio for the next while! Seriously. While we are talking about hospitals I thought of a T-shirt I saw the other day: "I'm not a doctor, but I'll take a look!" Cracks me up.
I'll have to get some pictures going here, I'm lucky I figured this much out.
